Scope

These terms apply to all users of ReMap-Forum.com, including registered users, moderators, and administrators. By registering or using the forum, users agree to follow these terms and the community rules.

Registration and Account Security

Users must provide accurate account information and keep their login credentials confidential. Each user is responsible for all activity performed through their account. Multiple accounts are not allowed.

Minimum Age

Users must be at least 18 years old to register. If users are minors, use may require consent from a parent or legal guardian.

User Content

Users may create posts, threads, polls, private messages, signatures, profile information, ratings, reputation entries, thanks, comments, and file submissions. Users remain responsible for the content they publish or submit.

By submitting content, users grant the forum operator a non-exclusive right to store, display, process, and technically reproduce that content as needed to operate the forum.

File Uploads and Requests

Users may upload only permitted file types and files up to the configured size limit. Users must not upload illegal content, malware, copyrighted material without permission, personal data of third parties without legal basis, or files that violate third-party rights.

In request threads, the request owner may receive and rate submitted files. Password-protected request submissions must only be accessed by users who are allowed to receive the password or have permission to download the file.

Private Messages

Private messages may be used for direct communication between users. They must not be used for harassment, spam, threats, illegal offers, or unauthorized advertising. Private messages may be reviewed if required for abuse handling, security, legal obligations, or troubleshooting.

Ratings, Reputation, and Thanks

Ratings, reputation entries, and thanks must be used fairly and honestly. Manipulation, retaliation, coordinated abuse, or misleading feedback is not allowed. The forum team may remove or adjust abusive ratings or reputation entries.

Moderation

Administrators and moderators may edit, move, close, pin, hide, or delete posts and threads, remove files, change category permissions, send system messages, warn users, restrict accounts, or suspend accounts where needed. Edited posts may show who edited them, when, and why.

Availability

The forum is provided on an as-available basis. There is no guarantee that the forum will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available.

Liability

The forum operator is responsible for own content according to applicable law. User-generated content is the responsibility of the respective user. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Account Termination

Users may request account deletion by contacting [email address]. The operator may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these terms, the community rules, or applicable law. Public forum posts may remain visible unless deletion is legally required or technically reasonable.

Changes to These Terms
